Groupwork

A great way to do something fun and meet new people

Joining a group can help you realise you’re not alone. By sharing experiences and spending time with others, you may find your confidence begins to grow, new friendships develop and life feels a little less overwhelming. Sometimes, simply being welcomed into a space where you can be yourself can make all the difference. That’s where our peer support groups come in.

Carers Group

Our Carers’ Group meets every Monday to share advice,  friendship and mutual support. The group is open to anyone who is an unpaid carer aged 18 and over in South West Edinburgh.

An unpaid carer is anyone who cares for a friend or family member who due is unable to manage their daily life without their support.  Looking after someone you care about can be a meaningful and rewarding experience but it’s natural to feel stressed sometimes, isolated or in need of support yourself.

Art Group

If you’re living with cancer or a long-term health condition and would like to meet others who understand what you’re experiencing, take some time out at our Art Group and get creative – join us on Wednesday afternoons!

Women’s Group

Our Women’s Group meets every Thursday. Everyone needs a place where they can feel comfortable, supported and accepted. If you’re a woman living in south-west Edinburgh and would like to meet new people, build confidence, explore new interests or simply enjoy some time in good company – we’d love to welcome you.
